Our growing year starts in January with tomato seeds being planted and calves being born. Also the greenhouse is being washed and prepared for the growing season.

April and May sees the gardens being prepared and seeded as the weather allows. As we don’t use pesticides, hand weeding begins in May and June.

Some salad greens are available from the greenhouse as early as May and tomatoes are often ripe by June. As weather permits the various vegetables are ready throughout the summer and fall.

The first frost triggers root vegetable harvest and garden clean up.
