Southern Alberta Market Farm

Norman and Heather Dodd have been involved in agriculture all of their lives. They moved their family to their current farm location in 1995.

Finding working both on and off farm very arduous, the decision to to have a home business was made and Room To Grow was born.

This was in conjunction with their purebred cattle herd, selling seed stock from 1988 to 2013. A herd of 35 to 40 cow/calf pairs are still maintained on farm.

In 2000 our first Saskatoon orchard was planted as well as a greenhouse constructed.

Over the years laying hens were raised and annual batches of meat poultry also processed for sale.

Norman and Heather also plant and care for several gardens that grow a wide variety of vegetables and small fruits throughout the summer, sold from their On Farm Store.
